Having worn these around the dock all afternoon, the stitching really does look like it came straight out of a vintage catalog. The green canvas almost glows in the sun, and they broke in nicely without any rubbing on day one.
The leather on these is buttery soft right out of the box, and the green shade is even richer in person than in the photos. I’ve worn them three days straight without any break-in blisters, and the stitch-for-stitch revival really shows in how solid the sole feels.
The stitching on these is remarkably clean, and the fact they're a revival of the original 60-year-old design shows in the careful detailing. I've worn them all day without any break-in discomfort, which is rare for boat shoes.
