Our Slightly Choppy Big Sur Crew in Alpine Green is a special collaboration inspired by the hand-sewn pennants crafted by the artist and designer behind Slightly Choppy in his Newport Beach studio. Made from premium heavyweight fleece, it delivers a soft yet structured feel.
The hand-stitched pennant detail on the chest feels like a proper artisan touch, not just a printed decal. The Alpine Green has a muted, coastal vibe that pairs well with everything I own, and the fabric has a nice, slightly textured weight to it.
The olive-green shade is even richer in person, and the hand-sewn pennant detail gives it a one-of-a-kind feel that stands out from my other crews. Fabric has a nice mid-weight thickness that should hold up through plenty of washes.
The pennant stitching on the chest is such a subtle, handcrafted detail—it makes the whole crew feel special without being loud. Fit is true to size and the Alpine Green is a nice muted tone that goes with everything. Wore it on a cool beach walk and it held up perfectly.
